– Take you back to 2006. Hamid’s stag weekend. 12 golfers & me, “nobby no-mates”. Then Frank’s 40th at Saunton, loads of people golfed on the East Course and I was nobby no-mates. Then Amar’s stage weekend in Cascais, Portugal. 12 golfers & me, nobby no-mates. So that was it, I gave in and whilst they went off to play around the Atlanctic Course at Penha Longa, I booked a 30 min lesson with a local pro.
